Wow! After a two-year hiatus, I’m back. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen. A lot was happening at the end of 2021, and burnout came storming in.
So much has happened that one post won’t do it justice—not to mention it’d be about a mile long! No, I’m going to keep this one short and sweet and gradually fill you in on the details. To keep my sanity (or appearance thereof), I think I’m going to try for one post a week.
But to tease you with probably my biggest news of the last two years, Thomas and I moved the family from central Texas to east-central Virginia. Words cannot express how ecstatic I am to be here! I’ll go into details on that adventure at a later date, but for those wondering why, the things stated in my The House Always Wins post was definitely a factor in our decision.
There are other things that happened, like we got a new dog, I got plugged in to an awesome writing community, and we’re enjoying all the local scenery and events around us.
True to my word, I’m keeping this post short, but if there’s anything you’re going to take away from this article, it’s that it’s never too late to start or restart something. So, if you’re thinking about doing something, please…dive in and just go for it!
‘Til next time!
