One of my favorite quotes comes from Raymond Reddington, one of the main characters on NBC’s The Blacklist: “There is nothing that can take the pain away. But eventually you will find a way to live with it. There will be nightmares. And every day when you wake up, it will be the first thing you think about. Until one day, it will be the second thing.”
2021 is finally upon us, and with that comes resolutions. Personally, I hate that word because it screams “destine for failure.” I much prefer to say “goals.” But whatever terminology you use, if you’re like me, you have a long to-do list, and it doesn’t take long before it gets overwhelming.

Anxiety. Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines it as “an abnormal and overwhelming sense of apprehension and fear.” It’s estimated that about 18% of Americans suffer from an anxiety disorder. I, unfortunately, am one of them.
